Episode #32: Hamstrings with Dr Jo Brown
It's not often that you get to say you spoke to the physio for the world's fastest man, but today I did!
Dr Jo Brown is a High Performance Coach and Physiotherapist with nearly 25 years experience in sport. She has worked with some of the world's best athletes, from Olympic Gold Medallist sprinter Noah Lyes, to helping the Jamaican Bobsled team qualify for the Olympics for the first time in 34 years. She is super knowledgable and a fantastic communicator , which are pretty ideal qualities for a podcast guest!
We speak about the role of biomechanics, and why Jo feels this is so important, how your approach may change if they have had repeat tears, as well as the implementation and monitoring of high speed running and sprinting.
I got so much out of this episode and I'm sure you will too!
