Today I spoke to Rees Thomas at Victoria University in Melbourne about some of his work as part of his PhD on Rectus Femoris Injuries, interesting case studies and much more

Rees works clinically and at Victoria University, where he is a Senior Lecturer and Musculoskeletal Lead of the Physiotherapy department. Rees is currently completing his PhD in collaboration with the Western Bulldogs Football Club (WBFC) on Rectus Femoris Rehabilitation and Return to Sport, with an emphasis on kicking. 

We speak about his current research, the role of tracking kicking using the latest tech and how this may inform decision making, the use of data and 3D modelling to asesss kicking biomechanics and the link with injury, and much more.
